Seventh matchday of the Women's Honor Division with three games played this Saturday. Previously played CN Sant Andreu 10-6 CN Terrassa. The results were: CD WP Iruña 9802 10-9 Simalga Real Canoe NC, CE Mediterrani 17-9 CN Sant Feliu, and Zodiac CN At. Barceloneta 12-11 EPlus CN Catalunya.
Historic victory for CD WP Iruña 9802. Their first in the top category of Spanish water polo. Not without suffering. Imanol Maiza's team won 10-9 against Simalga Real Canoe NC and moved off the bottom of the Liga Iberdrola. 5-4 at halftime, but the Madrid team mounted a comeback and led by one (6-7) going into the final eight minutes.
