Even with a slow comeback in the second half, the Doric ladies couldn't secure the first points of this season. At the Passetto pool, it was Coach Sinatra's Bogliasco that came out on top, with the Ligurians winning 11-14 thanks to the nine goals scored in the first two periods. Ancona's defense seemed to allow too much. With eight goals in the first period, Spampinato started the scoring, Altamura responded, Rosta scored twice, then Quattrini, Bianco on a penalty shot, and Rogondino on a penalty shot extended Bogliasco's lead, with Campitelli scoring in a man-up situation to make it 3-5. The Doric ladies got closer at the start of the second period with Altamura's goal (4-5), but Ligurians quickly scored two more goals with Spampinato and Bozzo. Despite Bersacchia scoring in a man-up situation, Bogliasco kept its lead, scoring twice more with Van Dyke and Bo to make it 5-9 at halftime. In the third period, Quattrini scored in an attempt to rally the team, but Bogliasco responded with goals from Bianco and Bozzo, both in man-up situations (6-11). Bartocci and Rogondino then scored, making it 7-12 going into the final interval. In the fourth period, Monterubbianesi scored, Bozzo responded, and Marchetti scored in a man-up situation. Bianco had a penalty saved by Mancinelli but then scored to make it 9-14. Finally, Monterubbianesi and Bartocci scored the goals for the final 11-14 scoreline.
