Bea Ortiz and Elena Ruiz, nominated for Best Player of 2024 by World Aquatics
Two Spanish water polo players among the five nominees for Best Player of the Year by World Aquatics. It has not gone unnoticed, logically, for the International Federation the tremendous 2024 performance by our national women's team, brilliantly winning the Olympic title in Paris. Elena Ruiz and Bea Ortiz are the two Spaniards on that exclusive list. And to support and push them to achieve this distinction (unfortunately only one can win it), World Aquatics has started the voting period through its Instagram account.
Alongside Ortiz and Ruiz are the Dutch player Catharina Van der Sloot and the Australians Gabriella Palm and Alice Williams.
