A1 M – Training Academy Olympic Roma, first derby: here is Roma Vis Nova
It's derby time! On Saturday, November 16th, at 5:00 PM, the Training Academy Olympic Roma faces its first derby of the season. At the Nuoto Stadium in Monterotondo, coach Mario Fiorillo's men are guests of Roma Vis Nova in a city rivalry that promises to be exciting. After the home defeat against Quinto, captain Cristiano Mirarchi and teammates have the opportunity to try to achieve their first victory in Serie A1.
Playing against Vis Nova at this moment is not easy at all. The team coached by Alessandro Calcaterra – another old acquaintance from Settebello – is going through a period of brilliant form. The Lions have won four of the five matches played so far, even against opponents who were considered stronger on paper, only losing in Florence in a controversial finish. But as we know, derbies often upset predictions and offer exciting matches, enjoyable for those who play and watch from the stands. Olympic knows this and wants to try to earn important points.
These are the words of the coach of Training Academy Olympic Roma, Mario Fiorillo: "We are facing the first derby of the season against a Roma Vis Nova in great shape and full of confidence. I congratulate them for the championship they have played so far, for the excellent quality of play even more than for the results. On our part, we will approach the match with maximum respect but with equal confidence in our capabilities. It is an important step for our growth and for our championship. We will play with attention, determination, and a great desire to do well."
We remind all fans of Training Academy Olympic Roma and water polo enthusiasts that the match will be live on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Roma Vis Nova.
