World Aquatics release updated Competition Regulations
World Aquatics recently released their World Aquatics Competition Regulations, with updated Part Six - Water Polo Rules, effective 9 November 2024. The Competition Regulations are available on the World Aquatics website HERE.
The amendments are made in regard to:
- Field of Play
- Team composition
- Possession time
- Video Assistant Referee (VAR) usage; and
- Coach’s Challenge (added as new Appendix #10)
Should you wish to track the Rule changes between the current and previous version (1 July 2024) of the Competition Regulations - Part Six, please be advised to review HERE. Beside the above-mentioned changes, further adjustments to the Rules will be available soon.
