EMMITSBURG, Md. — The Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo team released its 2024 season schedule with a slate of 31 games for this coming fall.
Games begin September 7 with a tournament hosted by the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.. Among the opponents is Occidental College, who challenges the Mount for the first time. Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) games begin one week later as the Mountaineers battle the Midshipmen of Navy at a site to be determined.
Home contests at the ARCC Swimming Pool start October 11 with a non-conference game versus the Salem University Tigers. That same weekend, the Mount welcomes George Washington University and Johns Hopkins University for a Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) doubleheader on October 13. The MAWPC Championship takes place at Navy the weekend before Thanksgiving from November 22-24.
