Budućnost celebrated in Budva in the first match of the preliminary round of the Montenegro Cup | Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro
The water polo team Budućnost won against Budva away 13:7 (4:1, 4:0, 1:2, 4:4) in the first match of the preliminary round of the Montenegro Cup.
The team from Podgorica secured the victory in the first two quarters, after which they had a significant lead of seven goals.
Budućnost was led by Marko Bošković with five goals and Mlađan Janović with four goals, while David Stevović scored two, and Neđo Baštrica and Matija Brguljan each scored one.
In the home team, Matija Franeta scored three goals, Petar Mirović scored two, while Radivoje Radanović and Luka Savić each scored one.
In the second match of the preliminary phase, Kataro will host Budva on November 13.
Three days later, Budućnost will host Kataro.
After three rounds, the top two teams will qualify for the final tournament, where they will meet Jadran and Primorac.
The final tournament will be held on November 29 and 30 in Nikšić.
