Today at 4:00 PM, the men of Het Ravijn and GZC Donk will kick off the Eredivisie weekend. Six matches will be played in the sixth and seventh rounds of the competition for most teams.

Leader UZSC is undefeated so far along with ZV De Zaan, but the Utrecht team can feel the pressure from ZPC Amersfoort, who, in addition to five victories, have had one draw. The Zaanse men led by coach Andreas Mirales have not dropped a single point in the Eredivisie and have played one match less than Sebastiaan Brands' team. UZSC will host PSV at home. The Eindhoven team has clinched victory twice and currently sits in a respectable seventh place with seven points.

Under the guidance of coach Mark Siewers, Amersfoort is off to a strong start. With the high-scoring Max van de Werve, who has 32 goals in six matches, they are in excellent form, giving them the confidence to host ZPB H&L Productions. The team from Barendrecht lost the opening match to Donk and last week fell to UZSC, but with four victories, they have had a good start to the season. A win would bring Maurice Dentro's team to just 1 point behind Amersfoort.

The men from Gouda had a good start in the Challenger Cup but have already suffered losses to De Zaan and ZPC Amersfoort in the Eredivisie. Het Ravijn is one position higher than Yuri Szeles' team, with three more points, so a win for the coach and his men is important to keep up with the top 5. The team from Nijverdal aims to widen the gap with Donk and solidify their position in the top five.

In the lower regions, BZ&PC, MNC Dordrecht, and Polar Bears will be fighting for their first points of the season today. The crucial match at the bottom will be between the point-less Dordrecht and ZVL-1886, who have only managed to win once so far. Visiting the reigning champions will be a tough challenge for the Bodegravers, although they are seeing positive developments in their game. A win over De Ham would bring the team from Ede level on points with Krommenie. Kike Garcia has only played three league matches with the Bears and still has two catch-up games to play.
