Successful Senior Day With Two Wins For No. 6 Men’s Water Polo
PRINCETON, N.J.- After a long road stretch for the Princeton men's water polo team, the Tigers were finally back in DeNunzio Pool and celebrated their annual senior day. Princeton put up 44 goals and picked up two conference wins in the final regular season home games.
Prior to the second matchup of the day, the Tigers honored their class of 2025: Aidan Bruno, George Caras, Will Garlinghouse, Luke Hammarskjold, Mason Killion, Vladan Mitrovic, Gavin Molloy, Roko Pozaric, Daniel Rodriguez and Isaac Rotenberg.
Princeton 22, LIU 9
The Tigers poured in the goals to start off the first quarter. Princeton tallied seven goals all from different scorers. They followed that up with another seven goal quarter to hold a 14-4 lead over the LIU Sharks at the half.
Hammarskjold recorded two second quarter goals for Princeton to help reach the 10-point advantage.
Garlinghouse got hot in the second half and recorded four goals in the day, a new career high and his first ever hat trick.
Princeton closed out the game with eight more goals and held LIU to single digit scoring to pick up the first win of the day.

Princeton 22, Iona 6
Following the senior day ceremony, the Tigers picked up right where they left off for their game against the Iona Gaels.
Pozaric scored the first goal from Princeton and sparked a 6-0 run that extended into the second quarter. He added three goals for a first half four-piece.
Kovács shut out the Gaels in the first quarter.
Peocz tallied three first half goals of his own for his second career hat trick. William Swart followed suit with a hat trick of his own to kick off the third quarter.
JP Ohl, Hammarskjold and Garlinghouse all recorded two goals each to finish out the second half.
Kovács and the Princeton defense held Iona to just six goals on the day. He tallied 13 saves for a .684 save percentage, his third highest of the season.
