Gathering of Barracuda in Šibenik
On Wednesday, July 10, after 2 days of rest, the preparations of our national team for the Olympic Games in Paris will continue. This time, the venue is Šibenik, where the Barracudas will train until July 19. During the last three days of their stay in Krešimir's city, our national team members will be joined by the selected USA team. After all, on the last day of Sibenik's preparations, an official friendly match between Croatia and USA will be played in Crnica.
The coach invited 17 players to the preparations in Šibenik. In addition to the 13 selected for the Games in Paris, there are also four who played in Sardinia and were in preparation throughout, but dropped out for Paris. However, the four Mate Anić, Filip Kržić, Zvonimir Butić and Franko Lazić did not stop being national team members. In addition, for training purposes, it is also logical to have a little more than 13 players.
The only one who does not have an obligation to come to Šibenik from 'too many for Paris' is the center Ivan Krapić, who, after all, ended his national team career anyway.
