A1 F – Lazio Nuoto hosts Rapallo at Le Cupole
The Women's Serie A1 doesn't take a break. On Saturday, November 2, at 6:30 pm, S.S. Lazio Nuoto faces Rapallo Pallanuoto in the 3rd round of the national top-tier championship. At Centro Sportivo Le Cupole, the girls coached by Iacopo Spagnoli host the strong Ligurians, one of the clubs with the best tradition in Italian women's water polo. After their first historic victory in A1, the white and sky blue team returns in front of their home crowd to try to secure the first home points of the season.
In the Lazio Nuoto camp, the mood is more than good, thanks to the successful raid in Ancona, which brought 3 points and big smiles to our girls. After the opening loss against Bogliasco now in the rearview mirror and the ice truly broken, the eagles can really start flying. Certainly, Rapallo is not an easy opponent, but skipper Chiara Tori and other experienced players – like Rovetta and Ioannou, key players in the victory against Vela – will lead the younger teammates in this new, tough match.
Words from Lazio Nuoto player, Carolina Ioannou: "We are facing a match that on paper looks tough. We are up against an experienced team with very different goals from ours, so our focus will be on continuing our journey, trying to solidify the playing mechanisms we are working on. Another important aspect, since we're playing at home, is showing a different approach compared to the opener and giving our audience a good performance."
Remember that you can attend the match at Centro Sportivo Le Cupole on Via Gino Bonichi 17 for free. The game will also be broadcasted live streaming on the S.S. Lazio Nuoto's YouTube channel.
