World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Bucharest; Serbia in the Same Group with Montenegro and Greece

The host of the World Cup qualifying tournament from 7th to 12th January 2025 will be Bucharest, and not Novi Sad as previously announced. There are eleven participating teams divided into four groups, with Italy not participating due to sanctions.
Serbia is in Group B with Montenegro and Greece, Group A consists of Hungary, France, and Spain, Group C includes USA, Japan, and Romania, while Group D is made up of only Croatia and Georgia.
From this tournament, the top six teams will qualify for the final tournament to be held in the second half of April. The best-placed teams in the final competition will secure a place in the World Championship in Singapore.
Serbia, Croatia, and the USA have secured their participation rights at the Paris Olympics.
Group champions will go directly to the quarterfinals, while the second and third-placed teams will compete for the remaining four spots.
