División de Honor Masculina | Preview of Matchday 3

It's the third matchday of the Men's Honor Division being played this weekend. With three teams at the top with a perfect record, the fixtures are as follows: Zodiac CN At. Barceloneta-CN Sant Andreu (12:45), KEIO CN Sabadell-CN Rubí (13:00), CE Mediterrani-Santa Cruz Tenerife Echeyde (13:00), Geodesic Real Canoe NC-SolarTradex CN Mataró (15:30), CN Terrassa-EPlus CN Catalunya (18:00), and on Sunday CN Barcelona-CN Caballa Ciudad de Ceuta (12:00).

Starting with the leader's clash, Zodiac CN At. Barceloneta, the maritime team hosts CN Sant Andreu in the Barcelona derby of the matchday. It should be an easy task for Elvis Fatovic's team, coming off a good win in the Champions League. Juan Carlos Sanchón's team has yet to earn a point.

At the Josep Vallès, CE Mediterrani will seek to secure their second consecutive victory by hosting Santa Cruz Tenerife Echeyde (13:00). The Barcelona team narrowly won on their visit to Sant Andreu (11-12) and now faces one of the three teams with a perfect record so far.

KEIO CN Sabadell, after a loss against Olympiacos in the Champions League at home, plays again at the Can Llong pool, this time against CN Rubí. The team from the Valles region suffered a narrow defeat against Geodesic Real Canoe in the last matchday and is yet to earn a point.

Interestingly, the Madrid team welcomes SolarTradex CN Mataró in a match that is expected to be evenly matched at Pez Volador. Both teams have 3 points out of 6 in this start and aim to position themselves in the top part of the table after this third round.

In the Olympic Area, CN Terrassa will try to bounce back from a tough loss last Saturday against CN Barcelona (14-7). Dídac Cobacho's team faces EPlus CN Catalunya, who have 3 points out of 6 and will play their third consecutive away game.

The oldest club in Spanish water polo, CN Barcelona, hosts CN Caballa Ciudad de Ceuta at Nova Escullera. We'll see if fatigue from Thursday's Eurocup match affects Andrei Iosep's team. On the other hand, the newly promoted Ceutí team will try to deliver a good performance against one of the powerhouses in the category.
