Our national team had an ideal start to the U18 World Youth Water Polo Championship, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a great victory in the premiere of the event.
Our representative team prevailed 13-10 over Spain, one of the strongest teams in the competition, in Group B, in the match that ended after midnight on Tuesday 2/7 (Greece time) and proved how it will be among the favorites for distinction.
The Greek internationals took the opponents by surprise at the start, took a 4-0 lead and then managed the situation perfectly until the final victory.
Spyros Lykoudis was named MVP of the match.
