B M – De Ioris and Di Fonzo back in white and blue
Mattia De Ioris and Fabio Di Fonzo reunite with Pescara Nuoto and Pallanuoto. The two products of the Delfino youth sector, starting today, join the group led by mister Paolo Baiardini, who began training a few weeks ago for the next Serie B championship.
De Ioris and Di Fonzo had already been announced by the company of president Stefania Scolta as youth coaches; in addition to strengthening the roster of the first team, the two will in fact take on important technical roles at the helm of two of our youth teams. In this sense, De Ioris has taken on the leadership of the Under 16 team, while Di Fonzo that of the Under 14 team.
Now, however, what matters most is that the two can join the first team group and get into the pool to begin training for the start of the new season.
“I am very happy to return to Pescara N and PN” explains De Ioris. “It is the company where I grew up, the emotional bond is great and I have beautiful memories here. I can't wait to start training with Mister Baiardini, meet the new teammates and hug the old ones again". And again: "I want to help the team achieve the goals set. We are a new group, under construction, but with time we will become aware and ready for a great championship. I thank the president Stefania Scolta, the sports director Giampiero Lattanzio and the entire club for the trust. I will give everything to bring Pescara back where it deserves to be".
Similar words were used by Di Fonzo: "I am happy to return to the team where it all began. Here I find old friends and at the same time I am meeting new and talented teammates". Then he adds: "There is a great project and I am confident that we will do a good job together. I thank the club for believing in me and for wanting me: I am ready to give my contribution".
Then the words of the ds Giampiero Lattanzio: "It is a double return that fills me with joy. They started with us as kids, then went through the youth ranks, until they reached the first team, where we shared joys and sorrows. Now they come back even more mature, to help their teammates and set an example for the younger guys”.
