Vice-champion Dinamo Bucharest missed the qualification in the Euro Cup groups, but Romania will still have three representatives in the competition. It is about Andrei Iosep, head coach at CN Barcelona, Robert Dinu, second coach at Ortigia, and Rogert Gergelyfi, player at Duisburg.
Andrei Iosep's team, CN Barcelona, is the only representative of Spain that continues to play in the Euro Cup. Greece has 4 teams in the competition (Apollon, Panionios, Panathinaikos, Vouliagmeni), Italy (Brescia, Recco, Ortigia) and Hungary three each (BVSC, Szolnok, Honved), and Croatia two (Jug, Mladost).
CN Barcelona has been assigned to group D and will play with Panathinaikos AC (GRE), VK Sabac Elixir (SRB) and Endo Plus Service Honved (HUN).Ortigia, where Robert Dinu is second coach, will play in group B with Panionios GSS (GRE), BVSC-Manna ABC (HUN) and Vouliagmeni NC (GRE).
Germany's only representative, Duisburg, played by Robert Gergelyfi, entered the draw in Group C, along with Pro Recco, Mladost and Szolnok.
