MALTA | Spain starts with a solid victory against the Czech Republic (13-3)
With half an hour late, our cadet men's team began its journey at the World Championship in Malta. Alex Oses' boys made their debut against the Czech Republic and achieved a convincing and solid first victory by 13-3. The next matchday, this Wednesday (7:00 p.m.) against Zimbabwe.
Our team has started very focused, especially in defensive tasks. They have not conceded a goal in the first eight minutes (3-0). In the second quarter, the Oses team continued to hammer the Czech team, which they left dry with a very intense and orderly defense. It was 6-0 on the scoreboard in the Maltese pool halfway through the match.
After the restart, Spain has extended the partial to a definitive 9-0. The Czechs scored their first goal with 48" remaining in the third quarter. Already in that final stretch of the match, our team relaxed a little further back and the Czech Republic scored two more goals. Even so, the 13- 3 final has been overwhelming.
