George Washington University-vs.-Mount St. Mary’s University Game on October 27 Moves to The St. James
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The scheduled George Washington University-vs.-Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo game on Sunday, October 27, moves to The St. James in Springfield, Va. Game time is set at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) game was previously slated to be contested at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., at 2:00 p.m. Eastern in a doubleheader with a Noon Navy-Bucknell University game. However, the game moves to the Old Dominion State with a 5:00 p.m. opening sprint.
In addition, fans should be aware of the location for George Washington’s MAWPC home games during the 2024 season.
On Friday, October 25, the Revolutionaries will host the United States Naval Academy in a 7:00 p.m. game on campus at the Smith Center. The squad will stay in the nation’s capital at the Smith Center on Saturday, October 26, for a clash with Bucknell at Noon prior to hosting Mount St. Mary’s at The St. James in Springfield, Va., on Sunday, October 27 at 5:00 p.m.
George Washington welcomes Fordham University and Wagner College to the St. James for Noon and 6:00 p.m. games, respectively, on Saturday, November 2, prior to concluding the regular season with a 7:30 p.m. showdown against Johns Hopkins on Friday, November 8, at Long Bridge Park in Arlington, Va.
