WATER POLO / WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR KIDS U16
The national team arrived in Malta (pics) - With Romania in the premiere on Tuesday (18/6, 18:45)
At noon on Monday (17/6), the delegation of our National Children's Water Polo K16 team arrived in Malta, which will participate in the World Championship of the category, from 18 to 24 June.
The team, which did its first training at the swimming pool where the games will take place, immediately after arriving at the hotel, includes the athletes: Dimitris Berdes, Dimitris Sarros (Palio Faliro), Konstantinos Bitsakos (GS Peristeriou), Kosmas Patsilinakos , Achilleas Pimplis, Dimitris Hatzis (NO Vouliagmeni), Theodosis Motias (NO Larissa), Ilias Angelopoulos, Angelos Lambatos (NO Patron), Vangelis Georvasakis, Stavros Zouzounis (NO Chania), Perseas Portokalis (Panathinaikos), Odysseus Karatzas, Angelos Leonidakis, Dimitris Panagiotis Raptis (PAOK).
They are accompanied by the federal coach Fontas Lembesis, his partner Markopoulos, the physiotherapist Konstantinos Apostolopoulos and Nikos Filopoulos, a member of the Board of Directors of the KOE, as mission leader. With them is the international referee Michalis Birakis.
Our national team participates in the 8th Group and premieres against Romania tomorrow Tuesday (18/6, 18:45 Greek time). He will then face Kazakhstan (19/6, 12:30) and Malta (20/6, 20:00).
