No. 14 Harvard University Controls Concordia University, 20-6, in Final Game at 2024 United States Air Force Academy Rare Air Challenge
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The No. 14-ranked Harvard University men’s water polo team picked up a 20-6 win over Concordia University to conclude a 3-0 weekend at the 2024 Rare Air Challenge hosted by the United States Air Force Academy.
The Crimson – now 7-2 on the season – scored 17 of the game’s first 20 goals as Harvard posted 20 goals for the first time this season.
Dean Strauser and James Rozolis-Hill opened the scoring for the Crimson as Harvard scored twice just over a minute into the game.
Vilas Sogaard-Srikrishnan scored the next two goals for Harvard as the Crimson started its offensive run.
The Crimson offense exploded in the second and third quarters after adding 14 goals in 16 minutes of play.
Mason Hunt and Strausser both netted four goals, while Rozolis-Hill added a hat-trick.
Emile Labrador and Jack Burghardt found the back of the net twice for the Crimson.
